Peer Review is for those who are really bored and want to earn 10 promotional credits per product reviewed. They do have a salary cap per day of credits earned.
Peer Review is currently not set up for Copyright and Trademark violations, that is for the Developers to adhere to on their level. However, the use of NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, Coke, Pepsi, Alcohol, Sporting Goods, and Clothing Logos, and so on, run rampant on the system. Hey, it sells products!
In peer review, you are also up against Bots. Bots flagging products like an elmo stuff dolls for violations like being aroused, nudity, hate, blood and gore, or being a tobacco product.
Developers: One trick when your product fails peer review for whatever stupid reason deemed (usually caused by bots sitting in peer review collecting credits that go unnoticed by IMVU), is to simply edit the HTML field with a word, or by adding / changing a search word in product, and quickly resubmitting it. Do this as often as necessary until your product does pass peer review!
